Developed the backend server, implemented restful API in JavaScript using Node.js. Built database to store users' and restaurants' information by using Postgres, Sequelize and used Yelp API to pull nearby restaurants for making recommendations. Designed front-end using React Native on mobile.

Developed a web UI using Apache Velocity Engine with AJAX interactivity and built an HTTP server using Jetty. Integrated with MySQL to store user histories and supported token authentication.

Bitcoinnoobs.com

This project is about taking an old cryptocurrency blog built in wordpress which has built up interest form Google searches on certain keywords and replace it with a brand new Jamstack website. This brand new website needs to be able to do the following things. Display blog post, display the latest crypto prices, forwards users to affiliate/əˈfɪlijət/ sites, minimize the amount of work required for the site owner to upload new content, integrate well with social media sites, and most importantly preserve and increase the SEO value of the old website(SEO, in here, stands for search engine optimization).

A d3.js Visualization of COVID-19

I choose to visualize Covid-19 data set. The reason that I choose this because more than 90 million people got affected and more than 1 million people dead because of coronavirus, people lost their loves, daily life changes. I think we should learn our lesson from this epidemic. I will chose to use a map, which is the obvious way to show people how bad it is right now. Many maps of the pandemic have been made, but I want to incorporate the best features from each and add some of my own to tell the most accurate story possible.

Misha Wang

Hello and welcome to my personal website! My name is Misha Wang, and I have a good background in Computer Science, having earned my Master’s degree from the University of San Francisco in May 2022. Shortly after, I started on my professional journey at Flexport, starting my full-time role on July 10th 2022 in San Francisco. During my tenure at Flexport, I was fortunate to be part of an incredible team, where I honed my industry skills and absorbed invaluable insights from my staff engineer. My mentor and fellow team members played a pivotal role in shaping me into an effective and collaborative team player. Unfortunately, my whote team, except staff engineer, was impacted by the company-wide layoffs in October, leading me to explore new opportunities. I am currently in search of a full-time position as a Software Developer or tech related rules, where I can leverage my robust foundation in computer science and the practical experience I’ve gained in the field. I am confident that my background equips me to make meaningful contributions to future projects and teams. If you are aware of any opportunities that align with my skill set, please do not hesitate to get in touch. Your assistance and consideration are greatly appreciated. Thank you very much!
